Tom, Dick and Harry's Live Bar & Pub, Pavilion

It's holiday season!
It's a must traveling down to KL to have some shopping and exploring with my friends
especially when they are here just for a few days :)

Christmas is around the corner
One thing I love traveling to KL during year end is the decoration in the mall.
Pavilion is definitely one of it ;)

Still
this is not the main point for this post.

As I was introducing KL to my friends
we found a real good restaurant  called
Tom, Dick and Harry's.

Thought it will be very expensive but ended up it's not.
Totally worth it

Menu?
All around the ceiling :D

Don't worry,
They have menu books,
it's just that I didn't snap a pictures of it since we were busy ordering :D

Love the wall decoration.
Woody feeling and I was LOL when we read the words. :)

The Live band stage
(perform during the night)

Counter
(feel free to sit for a  real close contact with the waiters)

The Big Breakfast RM 20+ (comes with one tea and one juice)
It's totally worth it because the portion is super big that I have to share it with Jing Brother.
Definitely worth the price!
So tasty, so full, and we were screaming 'yummy!' in our heart :D
P/s: Sunny side-up is perfectly half-cooked as the yolk dripped out right after the cut. *saliva drool*

Something with egg, bacon, and sausage... Gosh I forgot the name ><
Taste so good it it's the tummy of Than the Fatty :D

Overall,
I would say this place is worth-coming
I love the atmosphere
and  also the food.
I would say that the food is a bit pricey
but the portion is real big
(you can get consultation from the waiter is you are not sure of the rest of their food)
The waiters there are friendly and helpful.
and we had a great day there! ;)

Happy Meal! :D

Magnum Cafe Finally in Mid Valley!

Hooray Hooray Peeps!
Magnum Cafe is in Malaysia (finally)! :D

Well, if you guy are wondering,
the first Magnum was opening in Bangkok, not really far away from our country.
Now it has the third outlet in Indonesia as well.
Guess Magnum has its best market around the South East Asia ;)
and I can totally relate as my friends were the total Magnum hardcore fans.
(Remember those day, where you were willing to tie your stomach just to save enough money to buy a stick of magnum at the 7e store? Ha!) :D

In 2013,
Magnum has taken another leap to opening a Magnum-theme cafe
Their first Magnum cafe was in Siam Centre, Bangkok.
They had a real good response hence the second in Midvalley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur.

So yesterday,
I got a chance to try out the brand new Magnum cafe opened in Midvalley.
I wasn't really sure if I wanted to tried it out as I don't really have sweet tooth.
But since I promise Jing Brother to accompany him to the outlet
I was thinking: "Why don't I give it a try?"
;)

Without further delay,
let's hop into the Land of Ice-Cream! :D

I am happy to see there's not so much of crowd when we went there.
(I told Jing Brother if it's a long queue outside then I'll pass. )

The display, showing you how beautiful the ice-cream can be when you put some effort in it ;)

Love the simple and beautiful design of the shop.

The main point in the photo is the wall at painting.
I guess I can make one of this in my room too. :D

The uncle in front of me must be like:
Waaa so many choice my jaw gonna drop, my saliva drooling :D

I like the lights on top of the ceiling
Looking like the dripping chocolate and I feel like licking :P

So how is the magnum cafe different from the usual Magnum ice-cream stick around the store?

Magnum cafe has customized their own very classic ice-cream stick into a beautiful yet delicious dessert.
There's two type of orders:
The Classic, where they have already done the customize
Make My Magnum, where you can choose the dips and the toppings by your own.

So the procedure of ordering:

First:
Decide what kind of order you want.
The Classic is good for those who has no idea of how and which toppings are good in combination.
Make my Magnum is fun and interesting to choose if you are those adventure type ;)

Second
Order and Pay.
Grab the resit and move on to the next side at the counter

Third
Show your resit and the Waiter will do the Classic for you.

Whereas for the "Make My Magnum", you choose your type of magnum ice-cream (vanilla or brownies)

Fourth
toppings now ;)

The topping choices.
Pick only three of them for Make My Magnum.

Fifth:
Pick your dips
(vanilla, milk chocolate, or dark chocolate)

The waiter then put the topping on top

Sixth,
choose your top dips
(vanilla, milk choc, or dark choc)

Then you're done!
Enjoy your Magnum :)

We picked two order
The top one is under "Make My Magnum"
The below one is under "The Classic"-- The Super Gochi

For the Make My Magnum,
we picked brownies Magnum ice-cream,
dip in dark chocolate,
added dried chili flakes, dried mango, hazelnut and choco chips  as toppings (the waiter allow us to pick an extra since Jing Brother asked for :D)
then at last, top with white chocolate.
I think I will called it the "Craze Spices" :D

Happy Jing Brother :)

To my very surprise the dessert wasn't too sweet.
It has the most creative way of eating the ice-cream and it made the whole eating process funny as the topping fall out :D

The Super Gochi wasn't too much of a suprise
but the Chili-Mango "Craze Spice" was really nice!
We are really proud to say that we can Make My Magnum! :D

Last but not least,
a short video to sum up the day :)

All right!
That's it for this post!
I hope your guys enjoy ;)

A Pie Thing - Damansara

It's December baby!

I got to say this is a real late update as I got so many thing to post yet so less mood to do so ><
(yea we are talking about mood right now)

During the Halloween season (now you know how late this post is)
I got a chance to meet up with my primary friends
and they have taken me to explore new restaurant in Damansara

A Pie Thing is not really a newly open restaurant
but since I haven't tried it out I kinda make it to the "New-list".

The restaurant is kinda small and I have got to say the place is kinda congested when it's crowded with people.

There are quite lots of pie choices for you to choose,
and since it's named after the "pie",
all you gotta order is their PIE

You have to order your food at the counter, which makes it more congested in some way ><

All you gotta do is customize your pie, or they called it as 'Mashacre'
(either gravy+peas+mash+pie / gravy+mash+pie)
and other food / beverage you want
pay the bills,
and take the food at the side of the counter.

It's me at the counter
(Thanks to the 'almighty' Hwei Teing boss I got an extra pictures on the blog haha :D )

Some Ussies (plural for selfie haha) for memory <3

So here is what we ordered!
The beverage: from top: green tea latte, some kinda tea I forgot, long black
The food: Chicken mushroom, and the pie (without peas)

Also, we have an extra order for the Halloween!
It's the Graveyard Pie!
Although it look super tempting to me,
the taste is kinda decent as they just put the creme in the pie,
top with chocolate chips, jelly sweets and the customized 'finger' biscuit.
It's really pretty to look at, but don't mind the taste. ;)

The 'Mashacre'
This pie is a must try if you visit A Pie Thing.
They make the pie in the perfect way:
the crust is so crusty yet didn't crumble much when you pick them up,
and I am totally in love with the gravy mix with the mash.
Perfect combination. :)

Chicken Mushroom with Ice cream
I have no idea how the chicken and mushroom can mix with the ice-cream
but the pie has already tasty even without its topping.
I know it's meant to be eating together with the topping,
but I don't mind eating them separately.
So you can either mix them together while eating,
or you can separate them if you find it kinda weird to eat them together :)

Another thing I have to truly give a shout out
it's their Green Tea Latte!
The best Green tea latte I have ever taste so far.
It has the best green tea smells
and hat I love the most it's that they haven't put too much of sugar in it.
Probably a lil bitter for those who has sweet tooth,
but it's absolutely fine for me ;)

 All right!
That's it for today!
If you ever crave for pie,
make sure to check them out! ;)
